October in Szczyrk Mountain Resort

Autumn has arrived in Szczyrk – the mountains are beginning to glow with warm colors, and the atmosphere is perfect for peaceful, active moments in the fresh air.

In October, Szczyrk Mountain Resort is open on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays – so make sure to plan your visit for the weekend.

Important information for riders: Our Bike Park is undergoing maintenance on the HH Flow trail.
Earthworks are being carried out on a section of the route, so please ride with caution. A detour has been introduced – pay close attention to the signage and stay alert.

Pumpkin Farm at level 1000

Starting Sunday, September 21, 2025, you can visit the Pumpkin Farm on Hala Skrzyczeńska (1000 m a.s.l.). This is the very first place of its kind in Szczyrk – and at the same time the highest-located pumpkin farm in Poland!

Get ready for a true autumn atmosphere: giant pumpkins, unusual and colorful varieties (pink, green with a melon flavor, and even snow-white ones), decorations made of straw and heather, plus a huge SZCZYRK sign in the Chill&Fun Zone. It’s the perfect spot for relaxation, fun, and of course unforgettable photos.

OPENING OF HIP HOPY AIR 2.0 + BIKE TRAIN led by Bartek Giemza!

Get ready! This weekend, we’re opening one of the most anticipated trails of the season – Hip Hopy AIR 2.0!

Last autumn, the legendary line from Zbójnicka Kopa underwent a complete makeover. The GmzWorx crew took on the challenge of rebuilding 2,300 meters of trail, focusing on smoother flow, more dynamic riding, and pure airtime fun.
As Bartek Giemza, the trail’s creator, puts it:
"We worked hard to smooth out the ride – expect more jumps, faster sections where it used to be slow, and slower bits where it was too fast!"

Though still marked as a blue trail, Hip Hopy AIR 2.0 is designed for intermediate jumpers who are comfortable with bigger tabletops and berms.

On Saturday, you’ll have time to explore the trail at your own pace – and at 3:00 PM, join us for the first-ever BIKE TRAIN on the new line, led by none other than Bartek Giemza himself! Hop on the train – let’s make it the biggest bike train in Poland and test ride the most awaited trail of the season together!

Our photographer will be on the trail during the opening – all photos will be shared so you can relive the day again and again!

We’ve just opened the brand-new CHILL & FUN ZONE at Hala Skrzyczeńska, 1000 m above sea level – a one-of-a-kind place where mountain vibes meet pure relaxation and fun.

Designed with families, kids, and adults in mind, it’s the perfect spot to play, unwind, and make unforgettable memories together. The star of the show? A giant SZCZYRK sign that’s not just Instagram-worthy – it also hides a surprise!

Some of the letters feature interactive WOODEN BALL tracks – guaranteed fun for all ages! You can grab your wooden ball from a vending machine near Kuflonka Restaurant, and take it home as a special souvenir.

GRAND FINALE of the UCI Downhill World Cup at Szczyrk Mountain Resort!
 

Four seasons in one weekend? YES! Rain, snow, sunshine, and... A WHOLE LOT OF MUD – Mother Nature did everything to make sure this finale would go down in downhill history!

Riders battled the ELEMENTS and their OWN LIMITS. There was everything: CRASHES, EPIC RUNS, and moments that truly TOOK OUR BREATH AWAY.

🔥 Tahnée Seagrave – made her return to the TOP in spectacular style!
🔥 Loïc Bruni – proved he’s an absolute DOWNHILL BEAST and kicked off the DHI season like a TRUE CHAMPION!

An Emotion-Packed May!

We’ve just wrapped up an intense and emotion-filled May weekend!

Thank you for being with us – the very first Kite Festival at Szczyrk Mountain Resort was truly special! We’re so glad so many of you joined us. Be sure to check out the photo gallery from the event – those were truly colorful moments!

Now we’re taking a short break… but only for a moment.

Bike Park Opening This Saturday – April 26th!

We’re excited to announce that our Bike Park season officially kicks off this Saturday, April 26th!
 

To start the season off right, we’re opening a few trails that have been carefully prepared after the winter break.

✅ Trails open from April 26th:

HH Flow – fully renovated by the Enduro Trails crew. It's currently being compacted to make the ride even smoother and more enjoyable.

Otik i Otesanek – natural trails that have been cleared, maintained, and refreshed after the winter.

❌ Temporarily closed trails:

Zbój– the highest-altitude trail, where snow sticks around the longest.
Planned opening: Closed until May 11th. Note: The B5 chairlift to Zbójnicka Kopa will not be transporting bikes until May 11th.

Bestyja– undergoing intense preparations for the MTB World Cup.
Planned opening: Will be available after the competition ends.

HH Air - our summer favorite! The trail is currently being rebuilt by Bartek Giemza’s team. When asked what the new version of HH Air will be like, he simply said: “smooth, jumpy, and safe for everyone – with a twist at the end.” Work is ongoing daily – even on weekends – from morning till evening.
Planned opening: Late May / early June (depending on weather conditions).

Farewell to winter – it's time for spring!

After 100 days of incredible winter, we officially say goodbye to the season and welcome spring, which brings new energy to act!

On April 26, the opening of the Bike Park!

We have been waiting impatiently for this moment – on April 26 we will officially start the season in our Bike Park! To start with, we will put HH Flow, Otik and Otesanek at your disposal – all these routes have undergone major renovations, so you will have an even better ride!

What's new?

✅ HH Flow – smooth, fast and refreshed! After a thorough renovation, it guarantees even more fun and better flow.
✅ Otik i Otesanek  – fully modernized routes, ready for the first spring rides!

What's next? 

✅ Bestyja – temporarily closed, because we are preparing it for great sports emotions! The route is undergoing special preparations for the UCI MTB World Cup (17-18 May).
✅ HH Air – a thorough reconstruction has been underway since autumn. The route will gain a new, even more exciting version. Planned opening – end of May!
✅ Zbój – it all depends on the weather conditions. This is the highest located route in our Bike Park, so the snow stays here the longest.
