Cableway in Summer

Picturesque cableway rides just within your reach

Szczyrk means so much more than winter. Amidst the Beskid peaks, the word “boredom” is absolutely unheard-of, whatever the season. One of the most riveting pastimes around is surely is travelling by a 10-person gondola lift to the top of the Skrzyczeńska Pasture (Hala Skrzyczeńska), taking you as high as 1000 m a.s.l. The yellow trail leads you towards the Skrzyczne Mountain or the Malinowska Rock (Malinowska Skała). It’s an easy walk, with no steep hills, perfect for families with children and those less advanced hikers. No worries, you may take your four-legged friends with you.

An interesting alternative for hiking towards Skrzyczne is the 6-person chairlift to the Robber’s Mountain (Zbójnicka Kopa). It is said to be the most spectacular cableway in all of Szczyrk, presenting you both with Skrzyczne, Klimczok and many other peaks as well.

Both cableways are available to cyclists. So, if you’re sightseeing the region on two wheels, you’ll fall head over heels in love with the → Szczyrk Enduro Trails by TREK.

In addition, the gondola lift (A1) and the chair lift (B5) can transport four-legged friends (the owner is responsible for the safety of animals during the railway journey).
