FAQ – Flexi Prices

Read how the dynamic prices work

Ski pass prices and sale forms

How much will the ski passes for the winter season cost?

The prices will depend on a few factors, such as e.g. the occupancy at the resort within the high or low season, the day of the week, the date of the booking and the weather. For early bookings, 30% discount on the ski passes will apply. They keep on changing, so if the price you see in the price calendar is acceptable for you, book it immediately.

How much do multi-day ski passes cost?

The prices vary depending on the current demand. For this very reason, buying ski passes much earlier, before your skiing visit, is advised.

Where can I buy ski passes?

1. Online: gopass.travel at the best prices.

2. At the self-service checkouts of the resort – Gopass Tickets – please join the Gopass programme, the price you can get here is much better than the one offered at the traditional ticket office.

3. At the traditional ticket office of the resort, here the prices change dynamically as well.

How will the ski pass purchased online be delivered?

When purchasing a ski pass for the very first time, please register at: gopass.travel. You can collect your Gopass card at the resort directly. For any ski passes bought afterwards, use your Gopass card. The ski pass will be activated on your card automatically once you have paid therefor.

What will be the maximum ski pass price within the high season / Christmas season?

At the resorts such as Jasná, Tatranská Lomnica, Štrbské Pleso, Špindlerův Mlýn, Jasná, Mölltaler Gletscher, Ankogel - Mallnitz, Muttereralm Innsbruck and Szczyrk, we abandoned the idea of fixed ski pass prices. From now on, the one-day ski pass prices will depend on the supply and demand, thus, on the resort occupancy on the given day, on the booking day itself, the weather and season type (high or low season). Just the way it is with the airline tickets or hotel bookings – the earlier you book your ski pass, the less you shall pay and the better offer you shall get.

How much will ski passes cost at the Gopass Tickets self-service checkouts?

The prices at the self-service check-outs are lower than at the traditional ticket offices, yet higher than online at: gopass.travel. That is why we recommend buying your ski passes online, in this way you get the best price and skip the queue.

What will be the prices at the traditional ticket offices at the resort be like?

The prices of ski passes at the traditional ticket offices will be dynamic – i.e. changeable according to the current occupancy of the resort, to the weather and many other factors as well. They shall be higher than the online prices offered here: gopass.travel and at the Gopass Tickets self-service checkouts.

If the prices on the Gopass website change, will those at the ticket offices change, too?

Yes, in the winter season, we introduced dynamic pricing also at the ticket offices of the TMR. They shall vary depending on the resort occupancy, weather and other factors.

How many days in advance should I buy my ski pass to get a good price?

The earlier you buy your ski pass, the better price you get. The prices depends on many factors, e.g. the resort occupancy within the high or low season, the day of the week and the weather. They keep on changing, so if the price you see in the price calendar is acceptable for you, book it immediately.

Is there any period scheduled when the prices are higher?

No, the prices change depending on a few factors, such as the resort occupancy within the high or low season, the day of the week, the date of the booking and the weather.

Why does the ski pass cost more during Christmas?

The ski pass price depends on the resort occupancy. For the time periods which are particularly popular, the price is higher and for these less popular ones – lower. Christmas is this part of the winter season when the occupancy rate is the highest. However, if you buy your Christmas ski pass earlier, the prices start already at PLN 97.

Should I buy my ski pass now or wait for its price to drop?

The prices keep on changing, thus, if the price shown in the price calendar suits you, better book it immediately.

May it happen that I’ll buy my ski pass in presale now, and the price at the resort ticket office will be lower?

The presale prices are always the most attractive ones.

I had been selecting my Internet ski pass for too long. Then, the purchase was automatically removed from my shopping cart, and when I chose the ski pass again, the prices were already higher. Why did the system not allow me to buy the ticket at the initial price?

The dynamic pricing is adapted to the interest in the ski passes on the chosen day and at the chosen resort. As a result, just like many other factors, prices vary, too, so it may happen that they will change within a few minutes.

Cancelling your ski pass or using it in some other way

You can cancel a service in your Gopass account under My Orders for the specific service you want to cancel by clicking Cancel. A fee of EUR 1/CZK 30/PLN 5 (on the day before the product expires, until 11:59 p.m.) or EUR 5/CZK 150/PLN 25 (on the day before the product expires, until 11:59 a.m.) is charged for product cancellation. ), the remaining funds will be credited to your account in the form of a goX top-up. The product cannot be canceled on the product effective date after 12:00.

May I cancel my ski pass or use it in some other way?

Don’t be afraid to purchase your ski pass in advance, you may change the date for barely PLN 5 and at the latest one day earlier. The ski pass value may be, at some extra cost, transferred to your GOPAS account and then used to pay for another season ticket or any services you need. If you buy multi-day ski passes (at least 2-day ones) for Slovakia, and then, the weather is bad, you can use your ticket at the water park Tatralandia or Bešeňová. But skiing on this day is excluded if you do.

May I change the date of redeeming the ski pass? Does the price remain the same or does it change? Is there any fee charged therefor?

You may change your skiing date. Your ski pass must be cancelled at least one day in advance. Cancelling your season ticket costs PLN 5. The remaining amount shall be refunded as an account top-up which you can use to buy another ski pass for the day which suits you better. If the ticket for the day in question costs more than you have got on your account, you can top your account up. If you do not want to ski, you can always use the account to pay for other services.

I want to buy the ski pass at the best price I can get, but I usually decide whether I’m going to ski or not depending on the weather. What happens if I buy my season ticket in advance and then the weather is bad?

You may change your skiing date. Your ski pass must be cancelled at least one day in advance. Cancelling your season ticket costs PLN 5. The remaining amount shall be refunded as an account top-up which you can use to buy another ski pass for the day which suits you better.

Using ski passes in various resorts

Which ski resorts sell ski passes at dynamic prices?

The dynamic pricing has been introduced at the Slovak resorts: Jasná, Tatranská Lomnica, Štrbské Pleso; at the Czech resort Špindlerův Mlýn and in Szczyrk, Poland (SMR/COS/BSA).

Why do Štrbské Pleso and Vysoké Tatry Resorts have separate prices?

Having a separate price list is simply more convenient. We have discussed the matter with other facilities in the High Tatra. If each resort has a price list of its own, it can effectively improve its occupancy.

Will the multi-day ski pass issued by the Štrbské Pleso be valid at the Tatranská Lomnica or Jasná resort and the other way round?

Ski passes issued by the resorts with higher prices are valid at the resorts with lower prices as well. Thus, having bought a multi-day season ticket at the Tatranská Lomnica, the client may ski at the Štrbské Pleso, but not the other way round. The same rule relates to the Jasná Resort – you can use your seasonal ticket at the Tatranská Lomnica and Štrbské Pleso.

How will the Szczyrk ski passes work? Will they be valid in the Central Sports Centre (COS) and Beskid Sport Arena (BSA)? Will the prices of the tickets bought at the office change or will they be fixed?

The ski passes (1-6 days) will still be valid in all the resort departments, including the Central Sports Centre (COS) and Beskid Sport Arena (BSA). The prices of the tickets bought at the office and at the GOPASS TICKETS self-service will be as dynamic as when those purchased online. Gopass SKI Season Passes and Gopass SKI FLEXI Season Passes are not valid at the BSA resort.

Why have Szczyrk and Špindlerův Mlýn introduced dynamic pricing as well – just like the Tatra resorts?

The dynamic pricing has become a popular trend all around the world. It results from the need of controlling and managing the number of the tickets sold and the resort occupancy within the given time period. This pricing strategy is supposed to distribute the skiers in the resorts evenly all throughout the season. Since the interest of skiers varies throughout the season, it is recommended to plan your skiing in advance to get the best possible price, according to the principle “the earlier you buy, the less you pay”.  In this way, those skiers who can plan their time are rewarded with better offers than the standard one-day ski passes available at the traditional ticket office. For the resorts, it’s a chance to predict the occupancy in advance and plan the work of their staff better. And last but not least, the client can expect shorter queues at the ski lifts.
